- Tony was more than a customer at JP's—he was a cherished member of our family and a true American hero. A WWII veteran, Tony served as one of the pilots aboard the Enola Gay, a U.S. bomber that played a pivotal role in history. His service to our country exemplified courage, dedication, and sacrifice.
- For over a decade, Tony frequented JP's, always finding comfort and camaraderie in his favorite spot—counter seat nine. If the seat wasn’t available, Tony’s patience and good-natured spirit shone through as he waited for his special place. His presence at the counter became a part of the fabric of JP’s, and his love for his signature dish inspired “Tony’s Special,” a menu item created in his honor.
